Why should I become a Lion?
As a Lions club member, you can:
Make a difference everyday in your community. Provide support locally or reach out internationally.
Grow personally and professionally by participating in our programmes, community service projects and events.
Have an impact on local and international humanitarian issues.
Develop relationships with both local and international community and business leaders.
Have access to membership discounts and services.

Could YOU become a Lion?
Are you over 18 years of age, of any ablement or of any ethnic or religious background?
Can you spare a couple of hours one or two evenings a month? Do you like meeting people?
Would you like to put something back into the community?
Answer yes to any of these and you could be a lion.

Interested in becoming a member?
Membership in a Lions club is by invitation. If you are interested in membership, contact us and say you want to attend a meeting to learn more.
We also meet socially each month for meals out etc. (In fact for anything that enhances the Fun aspect of being a Lion) Attendance is entirely optional.
We meet 2nd Tuesdays at 8.00 p.m. Tyneside Golf Club, Old Ryton Village, Tyne and Wear NE40 3QE.
